Directions for use
Instructions for Using our Polymer Clay Cutters:
- Prepare the Clay: Knead your polymer clay until it’s soft and pliable. Roll it out evenly to your desired thickness using an acrylic roller or pasta machine.
- Dust the Cutter (Optional): Lightly dust the cutter with cornstarch or use a bit of water to help prevent sticking.
- Position and Press: Place the cutter firmly over the clay and press down evenly. Gently wiggle it back and forth to ensure a clean cut.
- Remove Excess Clay: Carefully peel away the excess clay around the cutter, leaving your shape intact.
- Lift the Cut Shape: Lift the cutter to reveal your clay piece. You may need a blade tool to carefully lift the clay off your work surface without distorting it.
- Bake or Cure as Directed: Follow the clay package instructions for temperature and time to bake your creation.
Care Instructions for our Clay Cutters:
- Clean Gently: After each use, wipe your cutters with a damp cloth to remove any clay residue. For stubborn clay bits, use a soft brush.
- Avoid Excessive Heat: Keep cutters away from high heat or direct sunlight, as extreme temperatures may warp them.
- Hand Wash Only: Do not put cutters in the dishwasher. Wash them by hand with mild soap and water, and allow them to air dry completely before storing.
- Store Properly: Store cutters in a cool, dry place to maintain their shape and sharpness.
